Terms of service

The terms for every website, shop software plan and custom app we provide. Your quote repeats the short version.

1. Parties

These terms are between Shreejan Studios (Udyam [PLACEHOLDER: Udyam number (Admin → Settings)], 2nd Floor, Patel Tower, Besa Chouk, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440037) ("we") and the business that accepts our quote ("you").

2. Quote terms in short

  • 50% advance to start, 50% on go-live.
  • The monthly plan starts from the go-live month.
  • This quote is valid for 15 days.
  • Yearly plan: pay for 10 months, get 12.
  • Your data is yours. Export it anytime.
  • Cancel anytime. After you cancel, you get 30 days of read-only access to export your data.
  • Changes beyond the plan's fair use are quoted separately.
  • Features we build for you may be reused in our product.
  • Replying "OK, go ahead" on WhatsApp or email means you accept this quote.
  • We process your customers' data only to run your software (DPDP Act).
  • Support access: we sign in to your shop only when you ask, for at most 60 minutes per session, and every session is listed in your Settings.

3. Services and plans

What each plan includes is listed on our Services page and in your quote. Your full data export is available on every plan, even while your plan is paused.

4. Fees, GST and payment

  • Setup and website fees: 50% advance before work starts, the balance at go-live (see Service delivery).
  • GST: we are not registered under GST, so no GST is charged.
  • Payment by UPI, bank transfer or cash. We send a receipt for every payment.

5. Renewal and late payment

Your plan is paid up to a date. If it is not renewed (default periods; your quote may set others):

  • For 7 days: due. Everything works, with a reminder.
  • For 7 more days: read-only. You can view and export your data, but not change it.
  • After that: paused. You can still view (not change) your data until the date we give you; then the software shows a lock screen with renewal and your full data export. Your public website and the bill and payment links already sent to your customers keep working.

Paying the amount due restores your plan at once.

6. Cancellation and your data

You may cancel any time (see Refunds & cancellation). After cancellation you get 30 days of read-only access with your full data export; then your data and files are deleted, except [PLACEHOLDER: what must be kept by law after deletion (lawyer to confirm)].

7. Acceptable use

You will not use the service for unlawful content or spam, or to store data you have no right to hold, and you will not try to access other clients' data or overload the service.

8. Your data and data protection (DPDP Act, 2023)

  • For your customers' personal data, you are the data fiduciary and we are your data processor. We process it only to run the service for you, on your instructions.
  • We keep it confidential, protect it with reasonable security safeguards, and tell you of any personal-data breach affecting it within [PLACEHOLDER: how soon we tell a client about a personal-data breach].
  • Who processes it for us: Supabase (database and file storage); Vercel (website and app hosting); Resend (sending quote and account emails); Sentry (error reports, with personal details removed first); Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) ([PLACEHOLDER: keep this row only if WhatsApp auto-bills are ever switched on for a shop; otherwise delete it]). We tell you before we add another.
  • Bills are shared from your own WhatsApp through a WhatsApp link (wa.me).
  • You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect your customers' data and for answering their requests; the software gives you tools to export it.

9. Support access

We sign in to your shop only when you ask, for a limited time (at most 60 minutes per session), and every session is listed in your Settings.

10. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential, during and after this agreement.

11. Intellectual property

  • The software stays ours; you may use it while your plan is active.
  • Your content (logo, photos, text and your data) stays yours.
  • Website design and domain: [PLACEHOLDER: who owns the domain registration, and whether the client may take the site design on leaving].

12. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties (hosting, WhatsApp, UPI apps, your domain registrar). We are not responsible for their outages, but we will help you work around them.

13. Warranty and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Our total liability is limited to [PLACEHOLDER: liability cap, e.g. fees paid in the last 12 months]. Neither party is liable for indirect losses or lost profits.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We show you the new version and ask you to accept it once.

15. Governing law
